Superheroes are as popular as ever these days thanks to plenty of superhero themed blockbuster movies which have been released in the last couple of years. 2016 will continue this trend as there will be a new Avengers movie, a new X-Men movie and Batman vs Superhero released later this year. If you are a fan of superheroes or want to throw someone a superhero themed party, read on to find out how to make Batman balloons.
What You Need:
- 36 inch supersized helium balloon (preferably yellow)
- Tissue paper/napkins (black/grey/yellow)
- Scissors
- Stapler
- 2 yards of string
- 2 yards of fabric cord
Instructions:
- Take two pieces of tissue paper and fold them in half (should be about 11.5 inches when folded)
- Cut the tissue paper which you have folded into thin strips using the scissors
- Lay the strips on top of each other so you create a small bunch
- Once the bunch is nearly full, staple the centre
- Now you have a tassle (may look similar to a cheerleading pom pom)
- Now do the same with the other two colours
- Tie the same piece of string around the centre of the each bunch,
- Repeat these steps and the colour scheme until you get to the end of the string
- Once this is finished, tie your string around the fabric cord
- Print out a black batman symbol and stick it to the centre of the balloon
- Now, tie the decorative cord to the end of the balloon and secure it with a tight knot
